I was responsible for breakdowns, research, picking patterns, and picking fabric. Over time, I started to make the costumes myself.

Starting to ‘Cosplay’

In 2003 I got into anime and learned about the term ‘cosplay’. I started making anime-themed costumes for me and my boyfriend. Can you tell which series is our favorite?

Competition

Around 2008, I entered my first contest, but I seriously started competing in 2012 and have been going strong ever since.

As the resident ‘costumer’ at work, I was expected to go the extra mile in an office that was already pretty intense about Halloween.
