Notes: For years, my sister and I had talked about entering World Cosplay Summit together, but never could due to the logistics. Then COVID hit and WCS started the cosplay video competition. Separated by 500 miles, we wrote, performed, and produced this entry. We’re so proud of what we did.

Notes: I definitely didn’t leave myself enough time in the blocking to execute the costume change and didn’t rehearse enough for my stage ninja to feel confident in executing the fake clothing tosses while I was changing behind the screen. Still pleased with the bodice removal and wig swap though!

Notes: Still one of my all-time favorite skits. This one came after re-watching some of my old favorite shows and then I couldn’t NOT hear the song. We only had about 30 minutes to rehearsal in total, but we planned the blocking to work out that way. So many good feels coming off this performance.

Notes: The Masquerade coordinator said the Anime Music Video staff were creating a skit and wanted to know if the Cosplay Games team wanted to go head-to-head in a for-fun ‘death match’ “skit fight”. The AMV team was bringing strong video so we decided to lean into derpy shenanigans with famous characters. Thus this fever dream was born!
